Program Description Third year and Fourth year students learn and apply the fundamentals of basketball during practice and at games. They learn the principles of team-work and self-growth while working to achieve both team and individual goals. At this level, the program stresses participation rather than competition, therefore, score is not kept during the games. At the end of the season, the team may participate in a tournament(s) where score is kept. Typically, practices are held once a week from mid-November through March. Game contests are usually held on Saturday afternoons. Our team participates in the Pittsburgh Diocesan League playing opponents from other Diocesan schools. Home games and practices are held at Holy Child School Gym (Reith Hall). Players and their families are responsible for transportation to and from away games. Chuck Gambino and Tom Reddy TOP
