Families who are eligible for the BEF and/ or the SOS grants and need additional help should write a letter to the Pastor or Principal requesting additional assistance.

Proof that you have completed a PSAS application will be helpful when submitting your request for assistance.  Whether or not they have declared your family eligible please let us know you have applied.

If you did not meet the financial criteria to apply  for the BEF  and / or  the SOS, but need help, please write a letter to the Pastor or Principal requesting tuition assistance.

Families with a child in preschool, who are eligible for the SOS, can expect to have the total cost of preschool tuition paid next year through the SOS Fund.

If you have your own business  your “adjusted income” may put you in the right income bracket for the BEF or SOS.

2006 - 2007 Registration News

We have started registering for the 2006 – 2007 school year!  We are happy to report that there are several scholarship / tuition assistance opportunities available for families enrolling in preschool through 8th year here at HCC.

New in 2005 – 2006 is the availability of SOS scholarship monies for PRESCHOOL!    We are told that families that meet the criteria for SOS scholarship grants can expect to have as much as 100% of preschool tuition covered in 2006-2007!

SOS funds continue to be available to children in K to 8 who apply.  Thanks to Bridgeville Appliance, Burg’s Pizza and Wings’ and NorthWest Savings Bank, who made donations to the SOS fund in our name, larger scholarships were given out in 2005 – 2006 to  28 eligible children than we were able to provide in 2004 – 2005!
